While you are here, the Lodge is your home and you are welcome to enjoy all its facilities.

Lounge - Dining
The heart of the house is a large room facing north with a unique glazed wall which makes the most of the spectacular view.

One one side a large open fire and comfortable couches invite you to relax and put your feet up.

On the other a dining area hints at the pleasures of food and conversation to come.

The Snug
A library of interesting books - especially New Zealand women's fiction

Space to watch TV/Video if that is the way you like to unwind

Access to free broadbank internet access using our laptop or your own.

Other facilities

Guests have a special area to make hot drinks. We are proud to serve organic fair trade Atomic Coffee, quality tea and a selection of herbal teas from the gardens. There are no guest's cooking facilities at the Lodge. More about meals.

Spa Bath - you are welcome to relax and pamper yourself in the luxury of the spa bath.

Laundry - we are happy to do washing for travellers.
