There are no guest cooking facilities at the Lodge, but options for dining are listed below. We use local produce, where possible sourced from our own organic gardens. We can be vegetarian or not depending on your needs. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements - please let us know ahead of time. There are several dining out options.

Meals are relaxed but stylish, inspired by local, pacific and international trends.

The communal dining table is focus a for good food, wine and conversation.

Pacific breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit
this is included in your tariff for those of you staying at the Lodge.

Take it back to bed with you if you prefer.

Waihoihoi brunch
A relaxed brunch. is a highlight not to be missed on Sundays (and other days by arrangement). Waihoihoi Brunch is served at 10am (you can have a light breakfast earlier). A variety of cooked food and special treats - something for everyone. Women staying at The Studio are welcome to join us for Waihoihoi Brunch.

$20pp for those not staying at the Lodge, $10 if staying at the Lodge.

Dinner @ the Lodge
An evening meal is available most evenings, it begins with Happy Hour, followed by a main course, and finishing off with local homemade fudge. It is accompanied by a selection of NZ wines and beers.

PRICE: $30pp including wine or $22pp for those supplying their own wine or who prefer to do without.

Waihoihoi Dinner
Some evenings a three course dinner will be available from $40pp including wiine, or $32 for those supplying their own wine or who prefer to do without.

Ask us if you would like to have a Waihoihoi Dinner during your stay.

Other meals
For Group bookings lunch can be arranged for $15pp.  For others who happen to be around at lunchtime, you are welcome to enjoy a complimentary light lunch.

Muffins will often appear magically at morning tea, and early evening usually signals happy hour.

The Pizza Bar and Bar  in Waipu is a very popular informal dining option.

Other options include:

Sit on the beach at Waipu Cove and have fish and chips from the Cove Takeaways (A great option if the weather is fine)

In Waipu you can also pick up a takeaway to have at the beach, by the river or in the park.

Otherwise there are good cafes and restaurants 40 mins away in Mangawhai or Whangarei
