Stay in this comfortable and stylish self contained accommodation which sleeps 2-4.

Waihoihoi Studio is less than 2 hours drive from Auckland, and 40 mins south of Whangarei. It commands wonderful views of Bream Bay and looks down on a large pond of goldfish, which looks magical in the evening, with the moon shining on it. On a quiet country road - you can hear the birds and frogs, and a short drive takes you to an often empty beach and the historic village of Waipu.
Facilities: the Studio is an open plan space, with a queen size slat bed and a loft with a double bed which is accessed via a ladder. The lounge has two divans which can also be made up into beds. Otherwise, with their colourful hand printed cushions, they are perfect for lounging on and enjoying the view.
There is ample room with dining, lounge, TV, stereo, fridge/freezer and fully equipped kitchen, and barbecue on the deck.
Breakfast is not provided but a well stocked kitchen has teas, Plunger and organic Atomic coffee and milk as well as herbs, spices, oils and vinegars, - just add to your own main ingredients.
There are also other dining options in the area, including sometimes meals at the Lodge and Waihoihoi Brunch on Sundays. [More on meals].
We welcome mixed groups in this private setting - men and women, children and family pets by arrangement. It is also a perfect setting for someone wanting time alone to paint or write.
The Studio is also available for group bookings in conjunction with the Lodge

Children: on the property there is an unfenced pond, water troughs and other rural hazards - so it is probably not appropriate for toddlers, certainly children need to be well supervised, though there is a gate on the deck.

Dogs: dogs must be under control at all times - there is stock on neighbouring properties and young children in the vicinity. We prefer that dogs sleep in your car, and we ask you to keep them off the furniture when inside. The studio has a deck with a gate so dogs can be contained there.
